Flexi P is supported by the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). T-MARC Tanzania’s goal in marketing Flexi P is to contribute to a 60 percent increase of contraceptive prevalence rate (CPR) among women of reproductive age in Tanzania.
Additionally, Flexi P aims to help reduce maternal mortality among women of reproductive age. Flexi P’s target market includes urban and peri-urban women 20 to 34 years old with an unmet need for family planning. Flexi P is promoted via interpersonal communications through communitybased distributors, market activations, women’s groupsand workplace interventions.
