Ms. Halima Mwinyi With 12 years of public health experience in social marketing and social and behavior change communication (SBCC), Ms. Mwinyi is experienced in a wide range of marketing, communications, and behavior change communication, including designing SBCC strategies, above-and-below the line communications, social media, and interpersonal communication.
At T-MARC Tanzania, she overseas development of program strategies and provides technical oversight for implementation of all T-MARC projects. She has worked at T-MARC since 2006 as Senior Program Manager for the Tanzania Social Marketing Program (TSMP) implemented in partnership with Population Service International (PSI) and also Marketing Manager responsible for the day to day management of T-MARC’s health brands and responsible in managing the development of new products in partnership with key private sector players. Prior to joining T-MARC, Halima held an executive marketing role at Bonite Bottlers and trained as a management trainee at the Tanzania Cigarette Company. During her studies in the UK, Halima interned at the Welsh Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance getting valuable experience in quality assurance and product formulation. Halima holds a BSc. (Hons) Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Sciences from DeMontfort University and a MSc. Business Information Systems from Royal Holloway University of London
